It was then that, as co-founder and creative mind of Delta, Nino Marino conceived a detail that would make that fountain pen unique: a motif engraved on a decorative sterling silver ring along the circumference of the cap. Nino was inspired by ivy, a symbol of eternal bond and continuous growth, and translated it into a series of stylized leaves, arranged with precision and harmony, also repeated on the clip.

The ivy ring immediately became a hallmark of one of Delta's most sought-after collections. Even today, those fountain pens are sought after by collectors and enthusiasts, who see in that ring not just an ornament, but the imprint of an idea: the continuity of stories and creativity.

Fountain pen made entirely of special ebonite, hand turned from solid bar; small metal parts in precious palladium plated; fixed piston ink filling system; inspection window for checking the ink level; 14 carat gold nib, plated with precious palladium; decorative band "ring of the ivy" made of sterling  silver 925, "lost wax" casting, according to the most ancient goldsmith's art processing techniques, in relief.
